Attaching a fringe to a table skirt gives it a dressed up and finished decorator look. All you need to do attach a fringe to a table skirt is to measure, select the fringe and sew. There are many styles of fringe available like bullion, looped, ball, tassel and beaded, from which you have to choose accordingly.

1. First, smooth all the wrinkles so that the table skirt is a perfect circle by laying it on a flat surface.

2. Obtain the diameter of the table with the help of measuring tape and with the help of calculator, multiply the diameter by 3.2 and then divide the number by 36 to obtain the figures in yards.

3. Now, choose a durable and medium-weighed fringe for your table skirt.

4. Pin the fringe on the table skirt using straight pins at the bottom of the skirt or slightly above and the pins going through the heading of fringe.

5. Now, Overlap the two ends of fringe heading and cut off any excess. Drape the skirt over the table to see if the desired appearance is obtained.

6. After this, use sewing tools to sew the fringe to the table skirt.

7. Now, remove the straight pins and tie off the ends of threads.
